Security template of Amazon Web Services’ Managed Config rules

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides a sample template — also called a ‘conformance pack’.

The conformance pack maps the AWS Managed Config rules to the New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM). The mapping table includes:

  • control IDs
  • AWS Managed Config rules
  • guidance.

As part of these operational best practices, AWS also has template commits available for download.
