Ruth Fischer-Smith received her PhD from the University of Canterbury and is currently a Policy Manager at the Department of Internal Affairs. She gets excited about bringing policy and academic experience together and is currently part of a cross-disciplinary research team at Victoria Business School examining how accelerator programs grow human capital in New Zealand.
