Government Digital Delivery Agency established

From 1 April 2026, the Government Chief Digital Office functions will operate as a newly established agency within the Public Service Commission.

The change follows final decisions confirming the transfer of identified Government Chief Digital Office (GCDO) functions from the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) to the Public Service Commission (PSC).

The Government Digital Delivery Agency (GDDA) brings together system leadership, delivery support and capability functions to continue supporting digital public services across government.
