About the AI Toolkit
The Public Service AI Toolkit consolidates resources to support agencies in planning, implementing and managing AI technologies safely and responsibly. It aligns with New Zealand’s public service framework and guidance.
The AI Toolkit supports agencies
The AI Toolkit is a collection of public service-focussed standardised resources. The resources are designed to support agencies at different stages of their artificial intelligence (AI) journey. From exploring opportunities and making investment decisions, through to designing, implementing and assuring AI-enabled services.
The AI Toolkit will grow over time and will support agencies to plan, govern and deliver AI initiatives confidently and consistently to ensure safe and responsible use.
The tools are intended to be practical and easy to apply. They support alignment with the government’s expectations for the use of AI and promote transparency, accountability and public trust.
