The AI Use in the Public Service Survey shows a significant increase in AI use. It also shows a shift from experimentation to implementation of the technology to improve productivity and support public services.
In the survey, 59 organisations reported 545 AI use cases. This is a 100% increase from the 272 cases reported by 70 government agencies in .
Nearly a third of all use cases (31%) were operational, demonstrating that organisations are increasingly moving beyond pilots and proof-of-concept activities.

- security and privacy concerns
- lack of internal understanding or support for AI.
