Record your answers from the risk assessment tool — use the Excel spreadsheet or your own document for recording them.

Update to the tool for public cloud services

The risk assessment tool is current. The Government Chief Digital Officer will be publishing improvements to the tool in winter 2023. Check back for updates on this website or by joining the Cloud Capabilities Network.

Ways to record your answers

Government organisations can record their answers to the questions in the tool in either:

  • the Excel version of the risk assessment tool for public cloud services
  • your own document for recording them.

In both cases, government organisations must complete the questions relevant to their situation — and any other questions that are unique to their business and technical contexts.
