Secondment opportunities at the Digital Public Service branch

Exciting and challenging secondment opportunities will be made available at the Digital Public Service (DPS) branch, Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) in October.

These secondments are at the forefront of change as the DPS initiates a new way of working with other government agencies to help them use digital to modernise their services.

Secondments offer a valuable learning experience for future digital leaders by providing a hands-on opportunity to broaden their public service network.

Digital Public Service (DPS) branch

Established late last year, the DPS branch supports the mandate of the Government Chief Digital Officer (GDCO) and ensures the Strategy for a Digital Public Service is implemented effectively across the public sector.

The work is all about supporting a more connected, responsive and consistent digital public service, while shaping and guiding the digital agenda at a system level.
